The Meaning of Life

Last nights dream again

A recurring dream I had again last night:

I'm sleeping and I wake up hearing voices in the next room.  I don't actually wake up because I then float up out of my body and float towards the door.  I look back and see myself and Julia sleeping soundly.  I float to the door to the next room and the sound of the voices.  Sitting at the table in our dining room are my dad,  my grandma Haworth,  Aunt Thressa, and David Bowie (with a red crew cut).  They are lost in a heated conversation about which art form is the purest and most accessible. Bowie is arguing for music.    They are also playing pinochle, drinking Southern Comfort and smoking.  They cannot see me and I watch the game and conversation for a while and I'm a bit upset that they are smoking in my house and drinking my Southern Comfort (I don't actually drink Southern Comfort OR know how to play pinochle).    The conversation shifts to how much they enjoy living in my head because they get to travel and see so many interesting places but they don't like the fact they only get to come out when I am asleep.
